My life is full of twits and turns

I never know when something ends

Or begins

I feel lost in this world

And even alone

I have chosen a path

That no one but I can follow

Making choices and following my heart

Is all that is given to me

I have no instructions, no directions

All I have is myself

The path I have chosen is curvy

Never a straight line

The problems that arrive are not easily solved

The issues that come seem to never stop

I fight my way from turn to the next

Never knowing what awaits me at the next turn

I feel so lonely

Having no one to talk to

Yet I know that someday someone will arrive

To help me through the thick and thin

But until then I guess I have to wait

And fight for myself

Solve problems myself

And make my own decisions

Hopefully my someone

Will arrive soon

For I don’t know how long I can last

By myself
