    My Prayer

At the close of my entrance, she came
A clear heart to hold me in love
How do I walk away when she is no more?
A damsel I loved soon past and fresh in memory
With a path of pains to envelope my heart
A path that I walk alone and lonely
No more warmth from her body of affection
No reflection of kisses on my lips
For I die in deep tears, longing in my heart
I hate till this day that I don’t love anymore
Oh Silas! Pray for a damsel from the queen
To re institute the purity of my heart
Oh Queen Mary! Silas pray to thee
Entreat one of your maidens to him
A virgin damsel with standing nipples
To keep me warmth for the winter
And to kiss during famine live in eternity
Oh Queen Mary! Hear my prayer.
