    Jesus Christ

    All history is incomprehensible without Christ
    He being the condescension of divinity
    And the exaltation of humanity
    In His life, Christ is an example
    Showing us how to live,
    In His death, He is a sacrifice, satisfying for our sins
    In His resurrection, a conqueror;
    In His ascension; a king
    In His intercession a high priest

    The nature of His existence is mysterious, I admit;
    But this mystery meets the wants of man-
    Reject it and the world is an inexplicable riddle;
    Believe it, and the history of our race is satisfactorily explained.
    He is God to whom we can approach without pride
    And before whom we may abase ourselves without despair
    Every step towards Christ kills a doubt.
    Every thought, word, and deed for Him
    Carries you away from discouragement,

    The name of Christ- the one great word-
    Well worth all languages in earth or heaven.
    As the permit of the seal on the wax
    Is the express image of the seal itself,
    So Christ is the express image
    The perfect representation Of God
    An era in human history is the life of Jesus
    And its immense influence for good leaves all the perversion
    And superstition that has occurred almost harmless

    thanks

    Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
