    Just A Poem I Wrote After Finally Coming Out To My Family A Few Years Ago

    ...My Pride...

    No confusion here

    Proud of who i am

    A 21 year old lesbian virgin

    Hardworking successful

    Beautiful & strong

    Why didnt i see this in myself all along

    Almost 21 years before i reaized the truth

    No longer will i settle for another excuse

    I live for today

    I will die for tomorrow

    For once in my life my happiness overwhelmes all my sorrows

    Not one complaint

    My life couldnt be better

    I am proud to be me and

    I will be me forever

    I am proud of you for comming out!! I hope you find many years of happiness, I am 46 and l aso walk in your shoes, however different our paths may be we have a bond of "sisterhood" that few of us stand strong and proud to be, but most of us wishing it were a much easier path. Good poem with your feelings so fresh. Enjoy life and every woman that comes your way.
