My Sacrifice
Have you ever given up pleasure for pain
Hated something so much but never complained
Have you ever said yes when you truly meant no
Try to smile all the time so your discomfort won't show
Are you willing to give for another to gain
No matter how much it hurts you block out the pain
Life is based on lots of give and take
It's up to you in which decisions you make
To sacrifice your happiness takes a strong mind
All your feelings and frustrations must be left behind
When it comes to the one you love there's nothing you won't do
No matter how you feel their happiness means the world to you
