    My Shadows

Shadows fall long on the floor, alone again once more.

Why do I open my door? shadows on the floor.

The only friends that greet me anymore.

They offer the only warmth, in the cold gray hue.

Shadows speak loud, tales of the past.

They move and bend, as movements pass.

Stand long and tall, the only friends I have at all.

    Shadows pasted, on the wall.

They never leave, just grow different if at all.

I'm never alone, with shadows on my wall.

    But I am.

I really like the way you presented that poem...really good work!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
