No getting back

    No getting back

    She'll waltz into your heart;
    batting them green eyes.

    Her moves are inviting;
    watch your soul boy.

    That will be the last;
    heart is gone.

    You can't help to fall;
    grace will exit.

    Then she will too;
    left alone to repair.

    To figure out just what to do;
    go on and find new air.

    She'll waltz out of the heart;
    you'll feel dismembered

    No getting back...

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
