NEVER THOUGHT?

Never thought this day will come

That you will walk out and leave me and your son’s

Trying to understand where I went wrong

Trying to understand where the love has gone

Faulting myself for your actions

How can I be stupid and let this happen?

8 years of holding you down

8 years of trying to make you smile

Held down the bills so you can be ok

Then you turned around to go astray

Why me I ask myself

Why can’t this man see my worth?

But still I can’t find someone to save me from this pain

I’m mad as hell for allowing this to happen

But I know GOD has my back and won’t let this disaster

Hold me back from my goals and dreams

He’ll give me the strength to stand on my two feet.

Nothing left more to say, but thank you for my children

And I wish you all the best with the new chick you’ll be with.

Never thought this could happen to me

But I thank GOD now for setting me FREE!!!!
