    No father to be found

    Chance has spoken.
    Insecurities abound.
    Time stands still,
Waiting for him to come around.
    Life like an earthquake, shaking.
Can't rest my feet on stable ground.
    Ticking like a time bomb,
    How my heart does pound.
A sea of hope, flood with worry
    No father to be found.
    Cries in the night, begging.
    Can you hear the sound?

I can tell you write when emotions are really overflowing. you get all down just so we can feel it all over again!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
