Poem Commentary

Wanting to give up and let go but not knowing how.

On your birth day

They wanted to sing you a sonnet.     But   Instead they talked over a tonic.

The devils brew made them feel like they were bionic,
could not feel shit.
As Her body hit the ground,
She looked up and saw Diamonds in the snow as she lost control.
Seems that her voice makes him want to vomit.
They said, without speaking "it was your aura that I was seeking" too deep in her throat.  Like a lump.

The words backed up till she choked.
Into the richest banks he broke.

They had the secret code.
On you she rode all night long, as you hummed a new tune.
You licked off all her perfume.
Their scent filled the room.

They chased away the blues,
went from one to two to three up too four.

Please close the door, don’t let out the sound.
He chased her all over town,

Rolling over grassy hills they fell. Stepping on lost love soaked, with insane tears

So heavy it caused road blocks, made of pebbles.
Smashed broken rocks

As their families stood back and watched, coping to understand.

coping to understand.
What Happened?
we haven’t seen your smile in a while.
What happen?

It seems they think the clouds are bluer, farther away.

Her salty smell came like a whiff from the pit in his chest.
They do miss the nights they used to make up.

Yeah hit it hard !hit it good! hit it long!
They both confessed their heads were caught

In a whirl wind of confusion, reckless Love.
Caught in a delution of misplaced rage.

Searching for the keys to the cage..
The last bullet stuck. In the gauge,
open their eyes

Woke up to a new day, we still here……….After all that shit.

On your Birthday
