Our Love

Our Love

The day we proclaimed our love

I opened my heart and let if fill
without a fight

Cause surely God sent it down to me
from above

The Angels watched in awe
at the beautiful sight

And the Devil looked up with jealousy
and envy

For he himself has never tasted
a love so great

I stand here between Heaven and Hell
knowing this love is all for me

And neither could break this fate

Cause our love is a whole new paradise

Neither can suffice

i love the poem, just that the way you space it makes it seem not to be a poem. its good thought

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
