    Patches

All these patches on my heart
Not all of them from you
They keep my wounds shut up
But the blood still drips through
    Sew my eyes shut
Just so i cant see the pain
But tears still fall and sting
    Just like acid rain
    Just because you stich
    Something back together
    Doesnt mean it will be
    Forgotten Forever
There will still be that scar
to remind you of the past
Or that stain on your pillow
    when mascara faded fast.
Thinking of the things i've done
not all of them too good
    and have no regrets
    things happen if they should
I cant change the past but
I can cover up the wounds
    But little drops of blood
    will still drip through...

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
