My name is Gladys Thorne, I am a retired librarian. I worked at George Washington High School for 37 years.. I love to have a good time. I like to read and write poetry. I am new at the poetry site. I am what you would call a babe in the woods. I am just a wild and crazy gal. I like to meet new people and have fun. I may be old but you're just as old as you feel. If that be the fact then I am about 30 years old. I love nature. I am a widow with no children. I have lived alone now for about twenty years. I have five cats and two dogs whom I am very fond of. I am in the process of writing my first book. It is called, " The Man of Many Places" Maybe it will do good. Hopefully. I hope to meet alot of new folks here. So enjoy and don't worry, be happy!
