The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse

I came to the end of my journey
I knew you would be there
Wheather it be a crystal clear night
Or if a mist of fog filled the air

Your light always becons me home
After a lonely day out to sea
You always show me the way
To the place I must be

Sometimes I get lost in the storm
And my chances of surviving are none
Then I catch a glimpse of your beconing light
And I know my race is  almost won

I follow your shining light
It always carries me through
If you weren't there for me
I don't know what I'd do

Im but a lonely fisherman
That spends his days at sea
And always longing for that light
That is always beconing me

God is my lighthouse
He guides me and shows me the way
When I take my last journey
He will guide me home to stay
