Poetry

Poetry.

I write Poetry about the days I have spent living,

Poems with words that never cease giving,

Withheld information happiness, nor sincere,

Highlighting our envy and greed and fear,

In order of learning and seeking the meaning,

In actual spiritual bodies and beings,

Of both earthly and universally our entities crowned,

Strengthening senses which separate the senseless from sound,

Creating collisions of estranged emotion and devotion,

And hoping that one day,

They are printed and bound.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
