"MOM"

She worked so hard to be a good mom.

Not really knowing how since her mom died so young.

She only wanted to shield them from harms of the world.

To protect them and love them and teach them right from wrong.

But you have to let flowers breathe and be exposed to some light.

Or they do not grow properly and carry some spite.

But I love you precious mother and do not carry any grudges.

I gave you hell as teenager and I think you learned your lesson.

I really like this poem, from the short and to the point way you wrote it to its very meaning. Wonderful job.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
