    Poem Commentary

    I think that this bit of writing speaks for its self

    Rage

     Rage, Rage, All I feel is Rage
    It is consuming me, I see nothing but pain
    Maim, Destroy, Kill, that is what I want
    The daemon is unleashed, This is not good
    My fists bloody, arms shaking, heart pounding
    I need to destroy to quiet the daemon
    If only I had an angel to help me
    Someone to hold me tight and tell me it will be all right
    But their is no one, I have to control it myself
    Pray that I don't do anything too rash
    Do damage to myself, something, or someone else
    Maybe someday I will have that precious angel
    To be their for me and help control the deamon inside.

    I tend to believe rage began as a spark of pain and loss of recognition from others. Control is the currency that is common to every man. We all want some measure of it. God has no problem with us operating in it. After all most dreams picture us as being in control. The nightmare is born out of a false belief that we're being deprived of it by the rest of the world.

    I tinnk you missed the point of this poem. I was simply pissed off and broke several things including walls until i was able to get myself back in a proper state of mind by a very good friend helping me meditate and calm down. Also my dreams would scare the hell out of most people.

    To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
