    REAL VIEW OF A BATTLE

    The training doesn't prepare you
The news reels don't tell it all
The government lies to its people
Whats really happening in the War
The bodies they send home everyday
Flag covered caskets that fill our planes
The families that bury their young
    The sadness they'll never overcome
For those that do make it home
    They're never the same
    Unsafe to leave alone
The depression and Nightmares that haunt us
The brothers we left behind us
The bitter taste of battle stays
The screams they don't show on TV
    The troopers tears
The Battles remain with us forever
As does the youth we left behind
