Robin Hood

Robin Hood

How can a man with the best of intentions

Be so cold, calculating, and unforgiving

A smile so warm, it brightens the room

His ways, so chilling, destined for doom

So hot yet cold, so humble yet bold

He robbed the rich to feed the poor

His mind and heart at constant war

Karma would surely settle the score

I fell in love with the people’s savior

I gave my soul to the thief of the night

Robin Hood …

WOW....Magnificent Write young lady, I'm feeling your piece, you have a nice flow....Thanks for Sharing!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
