    Sad Eyed Angel

    Sitting on the crest
    Of a newly formed rainbow
    Sat the sad eyed angel
    Looking down at earth below

    A moments worth of wondering
Brings an endless train of thought
    She hears the distant thundering
Of the knowledge she's been taught

    Slowly all the tears
    Will drift away with sunshine
But the little sad eyed angel
Knows there will be another time

The winds of pain are blowing
But through the rainbows colored glass
Comes the real gift of knowing
    That nothing hear will last

    Can the meanings really mean
So much to all the people
    When all is far beyond
    All of there golden steeples

    When all is given free
There's no such thing as price
And what was meant to be
Lies in the tossing of the dice

    Yet the sad eyed angel
Can't be sure of what she heard
Was it relly this or that?
    Or just a single word?

    Take me from this rainbow
    Shy crys in desperation
Let me go to earth below
    Give my soul a destination

    Slowly fades the rainbow
And the sad eyed angel falls
    The purpose of her being
    Had made sense,Yet none-At All

Hey do you think there's a place for angels,When they die that is? Jimbo/Copyright/75

Very well written; interesting philosophical piece. I almost felt you were talking about someone you view as an angel here on earth. In your 3rd to last stanza fix relly to really; Also I think you meant she cries not shy crys in desperation in the 2nd to last stanza. Please do not be offended by these corrections. I only hope someone lets me know when and if I have errors in my work so that I may correct them. Very well written I enjoyed this piece. I only hope to assist you in making this piece stronger with my suggestions. I enjoyed the flow of this piece.

I don't believe that angels ever die.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
