    Secret Love

I saw your face in a crowded place...
It was across the room, where I reached out for you..
We know this love can never be,
    For you are not free...
In my dreams is where our love will thrive,
Realizing this is the only way it can survive....

ROMANTIC, YOU XPRESS YOURSELF WELL. CHECK OUT MY POEM ON "WHEN YOU LEFT" AND SEND ME YOUR COMMENTS

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
