    Shallow Hearts

I'm not the same they say,
My hair is not perfect ,
    I'm too tall, too short,
I've done something wrong in the past,
    my clothes are not stylish
my teeth are not perfectly straight,
i talk differently, my skin is a different color,
    I'm different they say,
Yet you tell me that's wrong and laugh at me,
You never say hello or even glance at me ,I try to talk to you but you don't listen to me ,
You avoid me, never sit by me, or heaven forbid you should
Ever have to talk to someone so horrible ...Am i that invisible ?
The difference between you and i, I'm not shallow,
I see you for who you are, what you are, I make the effort to talk to you,
I want to sit by you and be there for you,
I listen to every word you say even though they hurt
I try to do these things and you still ignore me..
Will you ever listen ?Will you ever know i'm here ?
Will you ever see the beauty in everyone? Or is your world so dark and shallow that you must make mine that way too ?

    Nice...Luv how u express urself

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
