    Short Story -10/1/11-

    Tell me a story...

    I was born

    I live

    Happiness surrounded me

    Sadness took over

    Hate protected me

    Truth froze what was left

    A part of me died

    Another life, gave me hope

A friend slowly taught me love

    A mistake ruined it all

Followed the road I didn't want

    Insanity felt like home

    I'm still here

    Waiting patiently

    Yet anxiously

For death to lay its final claim

    My story continues...

    What's yours?

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
