I know you had to leave,
But I wish you could have stayed.
I want to tell you that life will get easier,
But the uncertain future may be difficult.
Just remember to keep your head up,
Even when people try to tear you down
Every laugh and tear will be remembered,
And the bad times never forgotten.
Holidays will come and go,
But the moments we share will last forever
And the one thing remains the same,
