    Somewhere To Begin...

    Somewhere to begin in the eyes of the beauty so fair...
    Somewhere to end in the eyes of yesterday--
    how sweet you were to me in the memories of today...

    I fall asleep at night wondering about your stay
    and I even dare mention that sometime I will
    even lie awake calling your name.

    My heart pounds for the tears my eyes shed---
    My soul quivers for the touch my flesh only knows about;
    My mouth sings at the tune of special delight,
    but only you can awaken the love that is hidden deep inside...

    Somewhere to end in the eyes so fair...
    Somewhere to touch you in the ever gentle air;
    My soul is now yours to take in the ever crispy stage...

    Now let me sleep for fear of yesterday...
    Let my dreams remind me of your touch...
    Let my soul take me to that place of ecstasy...

    Let my heart know when it should stop it's perilous
    beat...
    Let me never remember your soul-fed words of
    desperate measure...

    Somewhere lies a truth untold or a story of old,
    but somewhere in my eyes you are ever so near...
    Never let the candle hold so dear...

    Let me stop loving...
    Let me stop giving...
    Only Never let me stop remembering this torturous
    feeling of never knowing!

    A dream it was and a dream it is...
    I will always remember the soul that beckoned for me
    somewhere in the nights crispy, cold, untainted air
    of desperate means...

    Another great poem, have enjoyed it very much. Bless you; Lois J.

    If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
