    Agape Love

    I've chosen you to seek me in everything that you do,
    I am proud of you my daughter;
    as you look to me through and through;
    Never have I left nor forsaken you.

    My Child, My Daughter
    I am the Lover of Your Soul,
    The Rose of Sharon,
    The Lily of the Fields,
    The Father of the Unchanging Lights,
    unlike shifting shadows,
    I stay the same.

    You are my daughter in everything you do,
    like a moth to the flame and a
    catapillar to a butterfly,
    with the cocoon in between,
    So is my love undeniable appropriate for you.

    You've answered the call,
    despite the hardships,
    You've allowed me to love you,
    You've given your all;
    Now you are blessed;
    For all that you have done has never been in vain,
    My Child,
    I will always love you...

    In a word, precious. I have to admit that I think the best part is the second stanza.

    Dana, another great poem. Enjoyed it very much. Bless you. Lois J.

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

    Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
