    Standing Alone

Stood alone on a rock cliff view, with words to speak where were you?Threw a stone down the cliff side devils advocate was there to confide. Staring out off a ancient hill, touched only by a cold wind chill. Words seem usless without an ear, who wishes to speak with no one to hear. Wind rushing by only one I can trust, strengthining the bond with each chilled gust. Demons inside my opwn group therapy. Are the ears that hear my every disparity. Standing chilled a heart deep sigh, where wre you when I needed to cry? You weren't in sight or in hands touch. It's because of you I hate people so much. So here I am on a rock cliff view. With no one to listen where were you?

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
