Story Untold....

Rebuilding the shattered remains,
Of a once whole domain,
Nothing left to contain,
Pushing for a goal to obtain.
Walking down a darkened path,
Shrouded in my own wrath,
Knowing it will forever last,
Until I step out of the past.
Eyes closed,
Reality disclosed,
Forcing the hand to fold,
Rest of the story untold.
Uncontained despair,
Like fog quickly fills the air,
No one said the rules were fair,
Taking this on like a dare.
Rewriting the steps,
Of a story where choices are no less,
Importance ruling with cleaning the mess,
Strength to turn away all forms of distress.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
