Sullen loneliness of the night...

Sullen loneliness of the night...

Sullen loneliness of the night,

Caress and embrace me rather tight,

Just a dose of your empty love,

To a vague heart, that's dead enough,

Fill this dark void with your cozy cold,

And lend me a star or two to hold,

Sullen loneliness of the night,

Just you and I till day's bright.
