sunshine and Rain
Warm rays of the heart
And sweetness of the soul
Help to weather the elements
To have and lose control
The measure of the spirit
Captures loves sweet refrain
When I think of cloudy days
We will survive the rain
The brightness in your eyes
The softness of your touch
The beauty within you lies
In a place I love so much
Soft raindrops on my forehead
Sweet mother nature’s tears
The colors of the rainbow
thoughts so crystal clear
The warm rays of the heart
Extend from head to toe
The rain has quickly passed
More then love can know
With each glistening drop
a full spectral display
sweet sunlight will not stop
it falls on us each day
