Poem Commentary

I composed this poem while I was surfing the Internet and was amazed how quickly it was done.

The words and lines came to me like Pop-Ups on a web site.

Anyway, here's one for the Computer Geek!

Surfing the Internet

How it projects and reflects the colors and images of figures, letters, and pictures.

Makes everything so profound, definite, and spectacular with feelings of different gestures.

Yet, it seems, a push of a button or movement of the mouse will establish remarkable ventures.

I am delighted to say that surfing the Internet makes my day full of adventures.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
