Poem Commentary

I composed this poem with the intentions of sending it to a Publisher as a Valentine's Day Card.

I also found that the last two lines were so Heart Warming as well as Overwhelming.

To The One I Love

Take a stroll down memory lane
For we were Sweethearts just the same.

Here comes a time called Valentines Day
Which portray our Love in every which way.

Through cards, flowers, candies, and even diamonds
Reflects our Love for each other in every way common.

For One Unforgetable Moment Comes One Unforgetable Time.

I Love You With All My Heart, Will You Be My Valentine?

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
