Swept Away

Swept Away

Sitting here alone on Valentines Day
Lonely and in need to swept away
Off my feet, where noone can compete
To the winds and the skies
Never saying goodbye..to love
So its gets really quiet, you can hear a pin drop
Thought I heard my heartbeat but then it just stopped
Looking down at my cellular, knowing that I'm mad at ya
But just seeing your name on my phone makes me open it
Its a text,what's next..where's my happiness
He tells me he coming to see me
The madness just leaves
Now I can help but see, that he doesn't care about she
But he cares about me
I'm so swept away by his charm

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
