    Poem Commentary

This is the reasoning behind the use of different spellings of words in the titles,  this is how Tevin talks. When Tevin says a word, it usually comes out with the, "au" sound. Hope this will help you understand the spellings..

    Tev's Eyas (Eyes)

Chuckle chuckle, I love it here.

A place so far, and yet so near,

Let me tell you of a world,

That’s just past the Milky Way’s swirl

Millions and millions of light years away,

But I can get there in less than a day…

Not really sure, it was quite a surprise,

I blinked on day and closed my eyes…

I think it’s always been here, I’m not really sure

I found it one day as sort of a cure.

I have this problem you see, it’s more of an issue,

I like to make shapes out of paper and tissue

Dolls, super heroes, you couldn’t believe all the shapes,

For me it’s fun, for me, it's escape.

And I can crank them out one after the another

No lizards and dinosaurs, like my brother.

Just good guys and bad guys with a story to tell,

Tossing their dreams in one Wishing Well.

I like them because they do what I want,

And they don’t try to make me, do what I don’t

So many rules, so many habits,

but in my world, they’re replaced with rabbits.

The people I make,  don’t look at me differently,

Their eyes meet mines and it’s me that they see..

Ooh if could to stay here and never go back,

But Mom would miss me when it’s time to hit the sack

But it’s no problem, I know where they are,

although it’s another world, for me it’s not far…

In God's eyes we are all the same! It seems as if he is your son with some problems? May I ask what these are all about...?

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
