    That Feeling

Is love suppose to feel this good?

Was I suppose to drift away from reality
    whenever her name is mentioned?

Should I feel so much electricity
when her hand is in mine?

Am I suppose to feel so warm
when I hold her in my arms?

Should my body feel so cold
    whenever she feels upset?

Am I suppose to feel so empty
    whenever she goes away?

Was I suppose to feel chills
when her lips touch my cheek?

Am I suppose to feel so strong
when she rests her head on my chest?

Should I want to give her so much
when she asks me for so little?

    Should I feel so hypnotized
    when I hear her voice?

Am I suppose to feel pain
when she's the one that is hurting?

Am I suppose to dream throughout my day
when I think of how much she loves me?

Is love suppose to feel this good?

"Is love suppose to feel this good?—without a doubt! this is a great love poem! bravo!!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
