The Cancer Stick
My God has answered my prayersand given me my hearts' desire
He's kicked my ass from the pan
right straight into the fire
I am now in for the fight of my life
the battle will be hard and long
but I can not give up hope just yet
I must keep positive and be strong
I must go and leave my love behind
this decision weighs heavy on my mind
in the past I have hurt so many people
now I must beg forgiveness in kind
To you my love I pray for your understanding
and I hope our love will be neverending
I wish there was a way to work things out
so that there will be no more doubt
I am in so much pain both body and soul
and it is so hard for me to maintain control
the love of my life is in an emotional hell
and there is little I can do to make things well
All I can do is continue to fight
to just keep on trying to make things right
and hope someday it will work out fine
so that one day we can share peace of mind
