    The Confusion

    The Confusion
We wake up each morning to the residue of the day before…
Sometimes happier or sometimes sadder still we live through the same situations we often ignored yesterday…
We witness our past collide with the differences of our today…
While our children continue to bury themselves in anger and hostility…
Though we can build a telescope so powerful that we can vividly see the stars of the universe that are hidden behind other planets…
But yet we are totally blind to what we are able to see right before us…
Though the human eye is able to observe it is the mind that refuses to make the changes we need…
Prejudice, hatred, racism, famine and diseases take countless of lives each day of our existence…
As the media exhibits the merry go round of disaster, chaos, and destruction…
Though it is less for the improvement of life as it is for viewer ratings…
We live in a society that offers us a rose color image of freedom…
And still we remained enslaved by the illusion mind we that attempts to fashion the goal for peace…
With living through the daily confusion it is a wonder that we still find love…
And at times when the love does not supply our own selfish needs we attempt to flee…
Though the beauty of the wings of angel could not lift itself without the air that God created…
So it is with the dilemmas that we should embrace the love we are blessed with from our hearts…
And look no more of what you can receive from it but what you unselfishly can put into it…
So the next time you stare into the eyes of your love see not only them…
But the reflection of their love for you and see yourself survive through the confusion a little better.
