The Hardest Part

As I lie here on my side,
I finally realize my heart can’t hide,
All the love all the pain,
You are my world,
You are my sky,
Without you here,
My heart it cries,
The lord The lady have blessed us too,
The love of each other is an earthen glue,
To strong to tear, to strong to break,
Advantage of you I shall not take,
You had me coming now you have me going,
You took my heart with you without me knowing,
We are like a tree in gail force winds,
We still stand strong because we are willing to bend,
The oceans may rise and yes they will fall,
Yet we shall answer natures call,
She cries for me everynight,
She falls apart when I am out of sight,
But the knowledge of the future is the soothing thought,
She now knows what she should do and what she should not,
Yes we are miles apart, but beginning again is a wonderful start,
I hear her laughter, I hear her tears,
I will hear her tomorrow, I will hear her through the years,
The pain is rough the pain is hard,
But we are building a mansion, not a house of cards,
The time will pass as will the pain,
But the love for each other will always remain.
