The Long Hunt

The long hunt

The long hunt
I began in my youth
Had to reach every goal
Could not skip or shunt
Questions for my folk
Querries for my teachers
They all answered this shikepoke
I gained knowledge
Learned about love and life
Then came college
I lived life to the fullest
Now ready for the final test
With dignity and faith
I go to blessed rest
