The Other Side

The Other Side

Greener grass on the other side

It seems you always run and hide

The feelings here you cant deny

You built your life from love and pride

Its time now to take the ride

To see what lies on the other side

As time goes on you’ll see the way

They try to tell you every day

It doesn’t matter what you say

No one listens anyway

The proof is there unto thee

Read it again maybe you’ll see

Its all true so now you know

Shed a tear and don’t let go

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
