    The Special Visit

The door flew open once again,
I thought more people walking in.

    But, only one man appeared,
he looked familiar from ear to ear.

    he had an unforgettable style,
with which he cast his daring smile.

he said how is your mother Tan,
I am the brother of your dad.

A beautiful woman you've grown to be,
was his kindly compliment to me.

I offered him something good to eat,
as he moved that toothpick between his teeth.

He said sure I will be right back,
my thanks in advance for the snack.

The bag was still just sitting there,
as my manager gave me a stare.

Who did you make that order for?
My uncle he did not go far.

I waited patiently for his return,
but I guess he decided to adjourn.

I told my family uncle Whitley came by work today,
but for some reason he could not stay.

They stopped what they were doing work or play,
and stared me in my puzzled face.

They said no this just can't be so,
because he died some months ago.

A strange encounter I must say,
why was I visited this way?

From where did you come to where did you go?
    I probably will never know.

I am so honored you took time to visit me just one more time.
