    Where Were You?

Through all the pain & torture I've felt, dealt with or lived with in this earthly life where were you? When I was being robbed of my innocence as a child or of my jewels as a young woman where were you? When I was drugged, abused, taken advantage of, when I couldn't find work, or had no money for food where were you? Where were u when I cried? Seems all the bad happens when you're away & you wonder why I want/need to keep you close. I know if you were there those things would not be my past & with you here they will not be my future. I now understand your mission includes far more than I. My selfishness is fear of you being occupied at the exact moment I need u, & the phrase where were you once again asked. All things happen for a reason & theres a reason you are here now its not as you think to protect me only, It is for me to repair your wings at times. I need protection from others. You were sent special for me & you're here now so maybe I shouldn't ask where were you but appreciate that you're here now. While you protect & fight I'd B honored to incubate your seed My Guardian Angel.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
