    the struggling people

    the struggling people
    the people are black
the oppressors are black and white
no one tries to bring unity back
    we only kill and fight
the families are broken, the love unspoken
no one really cares, consequently no one shares
    the knowledge,there's none
the rap we know every one
let's talk more music is the motto
    so academic,abilities don't show
    the babies are crying
    the youth are dying
but who is there to say?
my brothers,my sisters you headed the wrong way?
    the strugling still goes on
    the people must stand strong
we have to work as one to get the job done
    the people are black
the oppressors are black and white
    let's bring unity back
    for freedom we must fight.

Yes, unity, that is God's wish for all his people. But there are those, who want to rule and make all the choices for all the people. Most do not know the rule of power, power shoild be by the people themselves. I pray for peace in your country, just a si pray for peace in mine. I shall keep the people of africa in my dreams and in my prayers. Thanks for writing, mareann

    nice message my dear

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
