    The Undiscovered

LOST beyond the burrows of a strange foundation,
I breathe but still remain in this death like slumber,
UNABLE to discover all of life’s new creations,
WITH sockets sewn tightly and eyeballs rolling under,
IMPOSSIBLE to speak, tongue tied into a knot,
FEELING restraint and fatigue without liquids to quench,
THE driest swallow through a throat getting unbearably hot,
CAN anyone hear my delusional cries being violently drenched?
BY the soil and bizarre forces below,,
HOLDING me down so I cannot move,
AROUND and about giving me no safe place to go,
NO results on the winner of life’s show and prove,,
UNTIL the exhilarating fragrance of hope euphoria,
PASSIONATLY invades my air soft soul,
    RE-creating life sweet succulent aroma
ILLUMINATION of darkness by a heart of gold,
ONCE again I inhale, this time without a dust cloud,
HARBORING a glimpse of what kept me reserved
FOR a minute my world felt buried under ground,
A realization of an intermission to appreciate what wasn’t well deserved,
A confession and plea to have mercy on my ways,
NO rebel exists within this contribution owed to you,
NO more fury stricken cores filled with a fiery rampage,
JUST a glitter-eyed soul with a positive pursuit.

"PASSIONATLY invades my air soft soul" —— this line sucked the air from my lungs and slammed me to my knees. I bow to you!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
