    The Yellow Rose

We look at the world as a place we have to be. So we close our eyes because it is the pain that we do not wish to see. Because of this, the beauty of the true beauty of the world, that is what we miss.

As I walk through the forest on a cold and gloomy night my bones are chilled and my heart is filled with fright. Sorrow and sadness is the pain that I feel. Believe me my friend that feeling is real.

So I walk down the path on this dark and gloomy night I opened my eyes to see a beautiful sight. There on the path among all the gloom stood a yellow rose with a wonderful bloom.

As I stood there and watched I knew that some one cared because of this rose and the beauty it shared. This yellow rose had helped me realize that not every thing in life was just darkened skies.

There on the path among all the gloom stood a yellow rose with a wonderful bloom.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
