    them

Love survives for Him and Her
And lives on through the years,
    Even when it must endure
Through strife, neglect, and sometimes tears.

It does survive with Her and Him,
    This truth they've always known,
And what has sometimes seemed to dim,
Instead, in many ways has grown.

With Him and Her it's always been
    A road with many faults,
Love's journey fast then slow again,
And now, and still, it never halts.

To Her and Him the choice stays clear:
They've got to ride it out,
For in their hearts they see and hear:
That Love is what it's all about.

Of Him and Her thus far we know:
They've made it quite a ways,
And farther still we know they'll go,
Two as one for all their days.

On Her and Him, my final thought,
    I'm absolutely sure,
Is my thanks for what we've got...
That I'm your Him and you're my Her.
