TIME TO STEP MY GAME UP
Step up
Its time for me to step my game up….
The top of the ladder im about to climb up
I’m about to blow this stage up……
Man look I don’t even have to sign up…..
I don’t even have to get up…..
I still fire the stage up the minute I show up……
Now pull a chair up….
Open your ears up…..
I’ve been stab in my back in the past…….
I know what’s up……
So I learned how to harden my skin up….
I hear words about me stirring up….
I’m from the streets I keep my guards up….
I didn’t forget how to knuckle up
I know how to duck….
I didn’t make here it by chance or pure luck…..
Until u have walked a mile in my shoes I suggest u shut up.
u say you’re my friend and u see me fall instead of talking about me, reach down give a hand and pick me back up…
Better yet hold me up……
Don’t look and me with your nose turned up…….
Now is time for me to step my game up……
I watch my mentor Joe as he fixes the mic up
Set his piece up………
He performs with passion as the words come up….
I go to the bar and ask Zane to pour me up…..
Then I stand by the wall and I post up…..
Before I turn my drink up….
I think to myself and then I throw my hands up…..
God what’s up? if this is my gift then show up…
He said to me boy surrender, I did when I woke you up…..
So it is time for you to step your game up…….
Listen up……
some get here early to get be one of the first ones up….

Get on the stage and can’t put up…..
Get mad at audiences because they won’t shut up…

Put up or shut up…..
Look don't even get up…..
Until you Practice before you come up…..
Take notes; watch how the vets raise the bar up…
I do…. I soak it up….
Go home and write my piece up….
Get in the mirror and practice on how to deliver it up…
I come to the shadow bar walk to stage and step up. Open my mouth and watch as y’all eat my words
Up…..
This is my passion that’s what’s up……
I just elevated my game up…..
