    Time

Time is a relative thing, never the same and always changing. What it is for one, it might not be for another. In one instance, seemingly infinite, yet such a scarcity in another.

One can sit engrossed for hours; only to find that mere minutes have elapsed. While, on the other hand, you can rush through things in a minute and find hours, even days have actually flown by.

Time is truly perceptual and intangible, yet clearly measurable. Time can’t be seen, felt, or touched but its passing noticed in little physical changes to things around us.

The only constant in time is it changes everything…
Aging, wearing us down, yet improving us all the while!

    thank you.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
