    Tiny Little Seas

    Tiny little seas
    rupturing at their seams.
    Their life's breath trickling,
    their life's end beckoning.
    The once deep seas,
    now shallow little ponds.
    Ancient skies weep,
    raining down every drop.
    The greedy little seas take,
their delight at the skies' sake.
    Their borders changing,
    their borders craving,
    their borders swallowing all around.
    The once overseeing skies
    have no more to give,
    no more relief,
    no more dropping life.
    Tiny little seas,
    bursting at their seams,
    give way to their dismay.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
