    I got out today
    to see the sun and embrace the day.

    I got out today
    to see the unseen and make a way

    I got out today
    to walk a new walk and experience the day

    I got out today
    to walk a new walk and to get away

    I got out today
    to kiss the dew and be refreshed by the air

    I got out today
    to shine like the morning sun and its rays I share

    I got out today
    to sing a new song like the fouls of the air

    I got out today
    to smile at everyone and have God's grace to share

    It is necessary to get out and live something new
    let it all out and inhale the new.

    Shine like the sun and soar like the wind,
    for when this day is over, a new one begins.
